Scott is the Principal in charge of our Taxation Consulting Team. He has vast experience in all taxation matters, and specialises in corporate taxation matters.
Scott has been instrumental in a large number of non-tax projects involving business valuations, mergers MBOs and other business acquisitions. He is also experienced as an expert commercial witness in arbitration and court cases.
Scott is a sought after speaker on taxation issues, and has over the years presented a number of seminars for accountants and lawyers on taxation matters, including income tax, tax implications of land transactions, qualifying companies, Death and Taxes, and a range of other related topics.
On top of all his professional activity, Scott is also a Trustee and Treasurer of the Montecillo Trust, and Fortune Theatre, as well as a keen sportsman.

Alan McConnon is an Executive Director of Aorangi Laboratories, a private investment fund. He is also a Director of a wide range of large and small businesses covering products and services including New Zealand wine, agri-genetics, primary produce marketing, Information Technology and medical equipment. After a varied career in administration, computing, sales and distribution, and general management, which culminated in leading the International Marketing strategy for one of Australasia's largest FMCG businesses, Alan has now moved to full time governance and mentoring activities, with specific attention to Marketing and Strategic Planning.
In his private life, Alan has recently changed his domestic lifestyle, with two adult daughters having left home, and now, three year old twins to keep him amused and bemused.
